The passage fee is the contribution that a Member of the Order owes to the Grand Magistry, when admitted, promoted or transferred to another category.
This contribution is called "passage fee" in remembrance of the fee the Knights had to pay when travelling by sea to Jerusalem.
The passage fees are a charity donation. You will have a tax receipt for the full amount.
